Scholarship Attendance Deadline Extended to July 31
The Social Justice and Empowerment Department has pushed the biometric attendance registration deadline for the Rajasthan scholarship portal to July 31, 2026. This gives students who missed the earlier cutoff another window to secure their scholarship payments for the 2026-27 session.
Why This Extension Matters
Biometric attendance verification is now tied directly to scholarship disbursement. Without it, your application sits incomplete on the portal regardless of how many documents you’ve submitted. This isn’t a formality — it’s the checkpoint that confirms you’re an active, enrolled student before the department releases funds.
The extension also lines up with a bigger shift this year: schools, not students, now prepare and submit scholarship proposals through the Shala Darpan Beneficiary Scheme Portal (BSP) and the Private School Portal. A total of 19 scholarship schemes fall under this new process, and the deadline for schools to certify these proposals is also set for July 31, 2026.
What Students Need to Do Right Now
1. Confirm Your Biometric Record Is Registered
Visit your school and ask the administration to confirm your biometric attendance is logged on the scholarship portal. If you’re a college or university student, check directly on the SJE scholarship portal using your SSOID.
2. Verify Your Eligibility Category
Eligibility still varies by scheme:
- Post-Matric Scholarship (SC/ST/OBC/EWS): income and category proofs required
- Post-Matric Scholarship for EBC students: family income under ₹1,00,000
- Post-Matric Scholarship for SBC students: family income under ₹1.08 lakh
- CM Sarvjan Scholarship (CMSS): minimum 60% marks in the last qualifying exam, family income under ₹2.5 lakh

3. Don’t Wait for the School to Follow Up
Since school heads now submit proposals on your behalf, some students assume the process runs without their involvement. It doesn’t. Missing biometric attendance, an outdated Jan Aadhaar link, or an unverified caste certificate can quietly disqualify a proposal even after the school submits it. Follow up with your class teacher or the school’s scholarship in-charge before the window closes.
4. Keep Your Documents Ready
Have these on hand in case the school requests them again:
- Jan Aadhaar-linked identity proof
- Caste certificate (where applicable)
- Income certificate
- Bank account details linked to Aadhaar for DBT transfer
Who This Affects
This deadline applies to students in both government and recognised private schools across Rajasthan, spanning Pre-Matric and Post-Matric categories under the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment. It does not apply to National Scholarship Portal (NSP) schemes, which run on a separate central government timeline.
